There’s nothing like a “Hollywood” divorce. They commonly come with all the drama, posturing and shocking moments that come with a dramatic movie. After all the dust settles and the parties go their separate ways, it is equally as common for divorced celebrities to marry once again.
This may come as a shock to those who have been through painful divorces (or troublesome marriages, for that matter). As Ohio divorce attorneys, we are certainly not judging those who have been married (and divorced) a few times, but we were intrigued by the list compiled by the HuffingtonPost.com of celebrities who have been married more than four times.
They include:
Christie Brinkley – Probably best known for her relationship with Billy Joel and her continuing drama with ex Peter Cook, Brinkley has been down the aisle four times.
Gerarldo Rivera – The popular talk show host has been married five times.
Billy Bob Thornton – His three year marriage to Angelina Jolie was the last of his five marriages.
Rue McClanahan – The spirit of “The Golden Girls” had six husbands, perhaps drawing some comparisons to her character, Blanche Devereaux. She even wrote a book on her first five husbands.
Larry King – The venerable talk show host has said “I do” eight times, but the latest marriage has lasted 15 years.
Elizabeth Taylor – Perhaps the most famous actress in movie history, Taylor also had eight marriages; marrying Richard Burton (very famously) twice.
Zsa Zsa Gabor – Known for a famous quip ” I am a marvelous housekeeper. Every time I leave a man, I keep his house.” Gabor was married nine times.
